Lenny - former Coffs Harbour Schoolie

I went along with about 10 others from Tamworth made the trip over the hills to Coffs Harbour for Schoolies.

We were not that sure what to expect as the Gold Coast is the main destination for Schoolies be but we wanted a quieter place to enjoy and celebrate without all the toolies.

I found it was excellent and better than we thought. There were people from everywhere. We stayed at the Park Beach caravan park in cabins.

This was fairly cheap and they were fairly roomy and nice (air con). About 3/4 of the park were schoolies so it was a mad big beach party most nights with bonfire on the beach and lots of drinking.

Attractions we saw were big banana, ice rink, toboggan, go-karting but the best thing apart from the girls had to be jetty jumping .

We spent about 1 hour jumping off the end, it was the biggest adrenaline rush as its real high. We then swam the length back to the beach.

Park beach shopping centre in Coffs Harbour was cool, good variety and two supermarkets.

Only problems we had was people gatecrashing our beach party on the Wednesday night and injuring two people seriously.

Apart from that Schoolies at Coffs Harbour rocked and was an amazing experience for everyone.
